This publication contains the peer-reviewed full-text papers and abstracts presented at the 5th International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, organized through the collaboration of İzmir Kâtip Çelebi University's Artificial Intelligence and Data Science Application and Research Center and Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University's Karaelmas Cybersecurity Application and Research Center. The publication covers a wide range of topics, including machine learning algorithms, AI-based threat detection and defense mechanisms, data analytics in cybersecurity, ethical considerations in artificial intelligence, and the applications of AI and data science in diverse sectors such as engineering, healthcare, education, law, finance, and urban planning. We are confident that this conference, which we deem significant as the collaboration between two distinct university research centers in "Artificial Intelligence" and "Cybersecurity" marks a first in our country, will contribute to the "Digital Türkiye" vision and the "National Technology Initiative" development goals outlined in the "National Artificial Intelligence Strategy.”
